Beijing Daxing International Airport Economic Zone(Daxing) has basically completed the construction of roads and energy infrastructure, and currently works on the development of a "2 + 4 + 6" spatial plan. The plan refers to the overall planning of two complex buildings (international exhibition and international consumption hub), four industrial zones (logistics zone, comprehensive bonded zone, international aviation community and international life and health community) and six special industrial parks for aviation, biological medicine, international business, stem cell sector, free trade innovation service, and medical device smart manufacturing.

The plan is dedicated to providing a platform for international business, scientific and technological R&D, cultural exchanges and foreign talents service to international organizations, multinational corporations and enterprise headquarters, in a bid to promote high-quality regional development.

The Administrative Committee of Daxing International Airport Economic Zone (Daxing) has implemented some 40 policies of the released 120 institutional innovation policies to better serve more than 300 market entities already settled and more in this area. In addition, the municipal government has approved delegation of administration powers to the 50 sq.km planned area of the Zone. The Administrative Committee is authorized to handle a total of 80 administrative affairs locally, including 31 affairs from eight municipal authorities and 49 affairs from nine district-level authorities.
