On October 26th, Zhu Sheng, Deputy District Mayor of Chaoyang District, presided over the work meeting of the Beijing Pilot Free Trade Zone (Pilot FTZ) Chaoyang   executive team about the construction of the "Two Zones". He was briefed on the latest developments and plans. The Chaoyang District Commerce Bureau and relevant departments reported on works such as business training, work research and policy seminars carried out in the early stage, as well as the arrangements for the following major works.

Zhu Sheng pointed out that firstly, the construction of the FTZ is significant, because it will be the driving force for regional economic development during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. Chaoyang District must seize the opportunity and spare no effort to make progress. Everyone shoulders the great responsibility and should have a sense of mission. Secondly, the district should pay attention to the top-level design, learn from others, thoroughly research policies, define goals and tasks, follow up progress, establish a systematic work mechanism, work under the guidance, and advance on schedule. Thirdly, the district should strengthen policy dissemination and let more companies be acquainted with the advantages, development direction, and policy characteristics of Chaoyang District, so as to attract large enterprises and major projects in the Pilot FTZ.
