1.  Beijing, along with other regions, has received support to take the lead in cross-border data flow and other aspects, positioning itself as a global benchmark city for digital economy and driving the development of new service economies through new digital formats and models.

2.  Restrictions on foreign equity ratio on the application store business in Haidian Park of the Zhongguancun National Innovation Demonstration Zone have been removed.

3.  Restrictions on foreign equity ratio on value-added telecommunications services, including internet access, have been removed in designated areas.

4.  Foreign investment in domestic internet virtual private network (VPN) services is allowed throughout Beijing, with foreign shares not exceeding 50 percent.

5.  Beijing is nourishing a digital trade port to explore international cooperation mechanisms.

6.  The Beijing International Data Exchange has been established to introduce a new model for data trading.

7.  A high-level demonstration zone for autonomous driving has been launched, along with the opening up of commercial pilot projects for unmanned transport services.
