Standard Chartered Securities (China) Limited is the first wholly foreign-owned securities company that obtained approval for establishment after the Chinese mainland's removal of restrictions on foreign shareholdings in securities companies in 2020. The company intends to engage in such securities activities as underwriting, proprietary trading and brokerage in addition to asset management (limited to asset securitization), with registered capital of CNY 1.05 billion. Headquartered in Beijing, the company looks forward to providing domestic and overseas clients with products and services related to China's onshore capital market.
