I. Overview

Established on March 14, 2007, the Thai Chamber of Commerce in China (TCCC) is a non-governmental organization initiated by the Ministry of Commerce of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Thailand in China, joined by many renowned Thai entrepreneurs. TCCC received approval from the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and was registered at the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China. It serves as the only representative of Thailand among the 19 foreign chambers of commerce registered in China and stands as a member of Shanghai Investment Promotion Partnership (SIPP).

Founded based on the strong ties and growing trade interactions between Thailand and China, TCCC has gained significant attention and support from the Thai government, the Ministry of Commerce of the Kingdom of Thailand, and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Thailand in China.

TCCC plays a vital role in enhancing economic and trade collaborations between Thailand and China, serving as an effective platform for uniting Thai enterprises in China. Since its establishment, the chamber has worked devotedly to nurture, support, and expand economic and trade partnerships between Thailand and China. Under the guidance of Soopakij Chearavanont, the president of the chamber, TCCC has attracted around 100 Thai enterprises, including prominent entities like CP Group, Saha-Union Group, Banpu Public Company Limited, Mitr Phol Group, SAMMITR Group, Double A, Atlantic Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and TCP Group (the maker of the drink "Red Bull"). On average, TCCC holds and engages in over 100 activities annually.
