I. Overview

The China-Britain Business Council (CBBC), a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing economic and trade relations with China and supported by the UK government and commercial sector, serves as an official partner of the UK's Department for International Trade (now the Department for Business and Trade). Since 1954, the CBBC has played a crucial role in fostering collaborations and partnerships between British and Chinese enterprises. The council boasts nearly 1,000 members, encompassing leading British enterprises and famous universities, most vibrant local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and Chinese enterprises engaging in exports and investments in the UK. The council spares no effort to offer members and partners business advice, insights, and networking services necessary for better seizing opportunities in Beijing and Chinese markets.
