A total of 129 projects worth more than CNY 81 billion were signed during the 2023 ZGC Forum (hereinafter referred to as the "Forum"). Additionally, 152 investment projects were announced, with an estimated investment exceeding CNY 143 billion.

The advanced and cutting-edge nature of the Forum was further highlighted through 20 parallel sub-forums on frontier sci-tech fields, such as that of AI large models, aimed at facilitating the innovation of cutting-edge technologies and the development of high-end, precision and sophisticated industries. Over 30 original and pioneering sci-tech achievements were unveiled during these sub-forums.

This year's Forum witnessed bigger international participation. More than 50 foreign experts and scholars delivered keynote speeches, and over 200 foreign organizations and institutions participated in various activities of the sub-forums. There were 13 parallel sessions undertaken by 19 foreign governmental departments, international organizations and institutions, with two overseas parallel sessions held in France and Belarus.

The influence of the Forum has also been further enhanced. For the first time, the China Science Fiction Convention (CSFC) was incorporated into the Forum. The Forum on Women in Sci-tech Innovation, the Forum on Standardization and Innovation Development, the Overseas Chinese Innovation and Development Forum and other sub-events were also held for the first time.

During the Forum, several policies, measures, research reports and other major achievements were unveiled as well. The National Council for Social Security Fund of the People's Republic of China announced a special fund for Zhongguancun Science Park, with an initial amount reaching CNY 5 billion. Also, Beijing Zhongguancun Comprehensive Bonded Zone was officially approved for establishment.
