The 1st Invest Beijing Global Summit, which is launched by the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, commenced during the 2023 ZGC Forum. During the summit, a momentous signing ceremony took place, in which 39 significant projects were signed, totaling a contract amount of CNY 60.801 billion. In accordance with Beijing's strategic positioning and industrial direction, the summit also unveiled ten "policy service packages" aimed at promoting investment.

Themed "Invest in Beijing, Win the Future", the Invest Beijing Global Summit this year featured a variety of events, such as themed promotion conferences, experience-sharing sessions, global releases, signing ceremonies for major projects, and industrial promotion conferences. These activities aimed to comprehensively present to the world Beijing's new advantages and opportunities, and to create a new platform for high-level opening-up of the city.

The summit invited a group of attendees, such as senior representatives and renowned experts and scholars from various entities including several Fortune Global 500 companies, enterprises under the direct management of the central government of China, large private enterprises, fund companies, investment institutions, unicorns, Chinese and foreign investment promotion and trade agencies, business associations, international organizations, the member organizations of the International Business Leaders Advisory Council for the Mayor of Beijing. Officials from relevant departments of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, districts of Beijing, and Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area were also in attendance. They gathered to discuss topics such as opening up and cooperation. 

At the session of global releases, governmental authorities such as Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center and Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform introduced investment promotion projects and private investment projects in key fields through videos, highlighting Beijing's new development opportunities to a broader audience. During the summit, a total of 152 investment promotion projects were unveiled on-site, with an investment amount reaching CNY 143.4 billion. These projects encompassed four major categories, namely "enterprise financing", "industrial park-related cooperation", "building-related cooperation", and "land financing", covering numerous fields such as new-generation information technologies, medicine and healthcare, intelligent manufacturing and equipment, technology-related services, integrated circuits, AI, software and information services, high-end, precision, and sophisticated industries, green energy, as well as energy conservation and environmental protection. A total of 124 private investment projects in key fields were also released during the summit, demonstrating a total investment of CNY 116.47 billion.
