The upcoming ZGC Forum is set to host a remarkable event, the Zhongguancun International Frontier Science and Technology Innovation Competition (the Frontier Competition for short). This competition will feature exceptional, innovative projects selected from a pool of over 2,500 global submissions in its final round. Through its progression, the competition has generated numerous international first achievements as well as various brand-new fields and tracks.
The Frontier Competition, titled "Leading Edge, Create The Future Together", is poised to showcase innovative projects across 15 fields. From the realms of AI and biomedicine to virtual reality and metaverse, this year's event promises to be the most diverse yet, with a number of 127 segments in total. As new fields and tracks continue to emerge, this year's event will feature the largest number of projects and the utmost dynamism and cutting-edge progress in the field.
The Frontier Competition of this year has highlighted internationalization as a key feature. Notably, international projects constitute a significant portion of the event, accounting for 30 percent of overall participation. These projects are mainly from 31 countries and regions, including but not limited to Finland, Australia, Japan, Germany, the United States, the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Russia.
