The Annual Conference of Financial Street Forum 2026 concluded in Beijing on the afternoon of October 22.

Themed "Building an Open, Collaborative and Inclusive Ecosystem for Global Financial Development", this year's conference featured 21 thematic sessions and three special meetings, all achieving successful outcomes. Over the past decade and more, the annual conference has been evolving, becoming a major global gathering for the financial sector.

For the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026–2030), promoting high-quality financial development in Beijing will be a key priority of greater significance. Beijing will continue to strengthen its financial service capabilities and standards to accelerate the development of a modern financial system commensurate with China's goal of becoming a financial powerhouse. The capital city welcomes financial institutions, long-term capital entities, and professionals from around the world to establish and expand their presence in the city, share the new opportunities arising from Beijing's development, and work together to open a new chapter in global financial cooperation.
