So far, the recruitment for the thematic and specialized exhibitions at this year's China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) has been largely completed, with nearly 70 countries and international organizations expressing their intention to set up exhibitions or host events.
Currently, more than 70 companies — including Alibaba and Schneider — have applied to unveil over 130 new products and achievements at the fair. This year's CIFTIS will also feature over 170 forums, meetings, and business matchmaking events, including the Global Entrepreneurs Summit on Trade in Services, the World Conference on Tourism Cooperation and Development 2025, the Beijing Capital International Medical Conference, and the Fourth Academician Forum on Ecological and Environmental Protection Industry Serving the Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality Strategy.
In addition, this year's CIFTIS has introduced seven new entry-exit facilitation measures under the "Sailing Forward · CIFTIS" initiative, including:
- Foreign participants invited to Beijing may apply for a port visa at the visa offices of Beijing Capital International Airport or Beijing Daxing International Airport upon presenting the invitation letter.
- Online accommodation registration services are available for overseas visitors coming to Beijing.
- Foreign business participants in Beijing who need to continue business negotiations or project investment in China may receive on-site consultation for visa extension, renewal, or reissuance, and can conveniently complete procedures at any of the city's 21 foreigner entry-exit service locations.
- Eligible senior foreign executives of enterprises may apply for permanent residence in China with a relevant recommendation letter.
- Chinese enterprises participating in the fair will be provided with convenient services for filing Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR business travel applications.
- Foreign participants who accidentally lose their passports in Beijing may obtain a "Certificate of Passport Loss" at the nearest police station or foreigner entry-exit service window.
- Participants from Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, and the Taiwan Region of China who lose their entry-exit documents may use a fast-track service (a green channel) to apply for document reissuance.
