The 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) is scheduled to take place from September 12 to 16 at the China National Convention Center and Shougang Park. This year will be the fourth consecutive year for CIFTIS to adopt the "One Fair, Two Venues". In order to provide a better consumption experience for visitors, Shijingshan District has strengthened the service support, including comprehensive consumption supply in dining, accommodation, transportation, tourism, entertainment, and shopping.
This year's CIFTIS will feature a significantly upgraded second edition of "See You at CIFTIS" Shijingshan Cultural and Tourism Carnival, enhancing experiences across six major sections, namely night tours, gastronomical offers, accommodation, activities, shopping, and traveling.
Drawing inspirations from the national intangible cultural heritage item "Legend of the Yongding River", a mythical creature-based copyrighted character was created. The "Mythical Creatures Ascend to Celestial Mountain" Wonderful Night Tour in Shijingshan will debut as a key supporting event of the 2024 CIFTIS on September 12.
Shougang Park has over 40 high-quality dining establishments such as Su Xiao Ya, Ju Bao Yuan, Peet's Coffee, Qingnian Xingchu, Shang Brew, and LionK GASTROPUB. Within its 2-kilometer radius, large shopping centers like Chang'an Mills, Jingxi Joy City, and Xirondo Plaza provide a wide range of dining options. In terms of accommodation, the area features 101 hotels, with Shougang Park Holiday Inn Express known for its scenic beauty and the Shangri-La Hotel being an internet popular spot for photo taking.
The park also has diversified cultural and tourist attractions. Highlights include Gongbei Pavilion and Bixia Yuanjun Temple on Shijingshan Mountain which is known as the top celestial mountain in Beijing. These venues are comprehensive cultural and tourism attractions where visitors can attend art exhibitions, buy creative cultural products, and enjoy snacks. They also serve as ideal locations for sightseeing and leisure. Additionally, the No.1 Blast Furnace - SoReal Science Fiction Paradise, a space exploration-themed sci-fi complex, promises an immersive and breathtaking experience.
The free themed buses will make grand comebacks. These versatile buses, capable of offering shuttle services, pop-up events, tours, fairs and more, will feature music, magic, table tennis, and culinary delights as their main charming points. During the day, the buses will engage in flash mob tours, while at night, they will transform into cyberpunk-themed marketplaces.
During the 2024 CIFTIS, Shijingshan District will also organize a series of consumer promotion activities based on the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day, aiming to comprehensively enhance the service quality of the shopping malls, supermarkets, and hotels within.
