The 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) is scheduled to take place at the China National Convention Center and Shougang Park from September 12 to 16. Seventy two countries and international organizations are expected to take part in the offline exhibition representing their national governments or headquarters. Among them, 12 are having independent offline exhibitions for the very first time.

Foreign dignitaries and heads of international organizations will attend the Global Trade in Services Summit to speak, share insights into policies, and exchange experience in a hope of building greater consensus on cooperation in global services and promoting economic recovery and growth worldwide.

Comprehensive and thematic exhibitions will be organized to focus on developing new quality productive forces and leveraging the advantages of industrial clusters and chains to connect and integrate high-quality resources in the service trade and showcase the latest achievements across different sectors. The comprehensive exhibitions at the China National Convention Center will include Exhibitions of Achievements in Trade in Services, Exhibitions of Countries, Exhibitions of Provinces, Autonomous Regions, and Municipalities, Exhibitions of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, and the Annual Theme Zone. The thematic exhibitions in Shougang Park will cover hot industry topics and development trends in telecommunications, computer and information services, financial services, cultural and tourism services, education services, sports services, supply chain and business services, engineering consulting and construction services, healthcare services, and environmental services.

This year's CIFTIS is also expected to host a series of business negotiations and promotional events, as exhibiting nations and regions will take the opportunity to engage the audience with their special development policies and promising sectors and opportunities for investment and cooperation on projects and trade. Chinese business associations, industry organizations, and key enterprises will join their international counterparts in specialized promotional activities, demand release and project matchmaking events, contract signings, and other exciting exchanges that all promise to facilitate the import and export of high-quality services and investment cooperation.

A variety of launching events, official releases, and service demonstrations will take place online and offline at the special dedicated release halls. Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders will showcase their latest technologies, products, achievements, and applications, and international organizations will join their industry peers to release official policy white papers, industry standards and regulations, development indexes, and development reports. Outstanding cases of innovation in science, technology, business, and green development will be selected for public release.
