The thematic exhibition of telecommunications, computer and information services at the 2022 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) will be held from September 1 to September 5, 2022, at No. 10 and No. 11 exhibition halls in Shougang Park.

Two thematic exhibition halls for communication and digital technologies and metaverse applications

In 2022, the thematic exhibition of telecommunications, computer and information services will set up two thematic exhibition halls for communication and digital technologies and metaverse applications, covering technological basis and a multitude of applicable scenarios shining the spotlight on the cutting-edge technologies and achievements of the information communication industry.

The thematic exhibition hall for communication and digital technologies will be set up in No. 11 exhibition hall of Shougang Park, which will cover four major aspects, namely communication infrastructure, cloud computing and big data, integrated circuits and industrial Internet, and characteristic exhibition groups, and will present the advanced technologies and achievements of the information communication industry and show upstream technology and equipment support. A world-class metaverse experience scenario, covering an area of nearly 10,000 square meters, will be established in No. 10 exhibition hall of Shougang Park to facilitate the metaverse experience hall making its debut. Immersive exhibition technologies focusing on interactions will be adopted to offer a characteristic platform for exhibitors and their exhibitions based on the metaverse applications.

Well-known enterprises participating in the grand digital fair

Attracted by the great advantages of the CIFTIS, many leading and competitive enterprises in the global digital economy industry are gathered by this national exhibition platform. For example, leading enterprises engaging in computing power and comprehensive communication such as China Unicom, China Mobile, China Telecom, and Alibaba Group will attend the exhibition to share their application cases in various fields, including the metaverse. Besides, Loongson Technology, a top Chinese enterprise specializing in CPU, Kyland, a leading enterprise in industrial Internet, and leading enterprises in the AI industry such as Zhipu AI and DeepGlint all actively take part in the exhibition.

Two special exhibition areas for international innovation and incubation and specialized, refined, differential and innovative enterprises that provide distinctive products or services will also be set up in this exhibition hall. More than 20 innovative technological achievements from countries such as the UK, the US, Germany, Japan, Israel and Switzerland will be exhibited in the international innovation and incubation exhibition area, including such innovations as intelligent industrial sensors, 3D optical inspection devices, transparent on-display screen antennae, intelligent flying robots for inspection of industrial spaces and light commercial aircraft manufacturing. The exhibition area for specialized, refined, differential and innovative enterprises that provide distinctive products or services will provide a matchmaking platform for the supply and demand of the science and technology field and upstream and downstream industrial chains for those enterprises, and promote the implementation of relevant policies.

Innovative achievements in cutting-edge forums exploring future potential

During the thematic exhibitions, two special forums focusing on the development and cooperation of the integrated circuit industry and the innovation and development of the industrial Internet and over ten ICT industry forums on topics such as the 2022 Digital Economy Development Conference, information and communication cooperation and development, computing resources from the East to the West and development of computing power, changes in future mobility based on carbon peak and carbon neutrality, and world AI collaboration and innovative application will be held. Frontier topics related to Web 3.0, 5G innovations, data factors, open source technology and smart driving will also be discussed. Moreover, both online and onsite release halls will be set up for this theme for technology and product launches, authoritative releases and the release of service demonstration cases.
