The China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, is an all-inclusive international exhibition and trade platform dedicated to trade in services. With strong support from all parties, the CIFTIS has been successfully held for ten sessions. Chinese President Xi Jinping has delivered an important video speech or congratulatory letter to the CIFTIS for five consecutive years, highly praising its role and noting that "CIFTIS is a crucial platform for China to expand opening-up, deepen cooperation and promote innovation, and it has made a positive contribution to the development of global service industry and trade in services".

The 2024 CIFTIS will be held in Beijing from September 12 to 16, focusing on the trends and latest developments of trade in services. It will feature exhibitions, negotiations and promotions, results releases, and various supporting activities. The fair will include Comprehensive Exhibitions and Thematic Exhibitions covering Telecommunications, Computer & Information Services, Financial Services, Culture & Tourism Services, Education Services, Sports Services, Supply Chain & Business Services, Engineering Consulting & Construction Services, Health Services, as well as Environmental Services.

The CIFTIS will involve both online and offline activities, emphasizing internationalization, specialization, and marketization, and focusing more on enhancing the trading function of the exhibition, improving exhibition effectiveness, and promoting broader and deeper exchanges and cooperation in the field of international trade in services.
