BEIECC resides in the Etrong Intelligent Robot Innovation Park and was officially put into operation in September 2016. The Park, once the largest manufacturing base for printing equipment in China, made outstanding contributions to the transition of Chinese printing industry from the "lead and fire" age to the "optics and electronics" age. As the main founder and leader of China's printing equipment manufacturing, Beiren has proactively implemented the strategic transformation, taking into account of the functional positioning of the capital and the industrial structural needs, and has set an example for the transformation and upgrades of traditional manufacturing industries with the construction of the "permanent venue of the World Robot Conference", thus stepping on a new journey in the intelligent manufacturing field comprehensively and systematically by taking the Etrong Intelligent Robot Innovation Park as the start point. As an important functional platform of the Etrong Intelligent Robot Innovation Park, BEIECC fills in the gap of exhibition and display in south Beijing, and has developed into the largest professional and comprehensive exhibition, display and convention venue in south Beijing, equipped with a wide range of advanced hardware facilities and devices, with a total area of nearly 90,000 square meters arranged for supporting convention, exhibition, display and business activities. It is the most distinctive international exhibition and exchange center for high-end industries in south Beijing.
BEIECC has an indoor exhibition space covering an area of 35,000 square meters, long-term special exhibition halls covering an area of nearly 10,000 square meters and an outdoor exhibition space covering an area of about 10,000 square meters. With two passages connecting the south and north exhibition halls to the convention center, the audience is provided with free access to the indoor exhibition space covering an area of 80,000 square meters in total. The spacious south exhibition hall and the outdoor exhibition space are sufficient to accommodate various large-scale exhibitions, while the characteristic north exhibition hall could create a distinctive vertical space for special displays. The convention center includes a main hall of 2,000 square meters and a number of multi-functional conference halls, which can be flexibly combined to fit in conferences of different sizes. The VIP hall, interview hall, media center, business center and catering area are completely available, providing people with meticulous and thoughtful services at all times. Wide hallways and sufficient storage space can meet the different logistic needs for exhibition construction work.
