A: The Catalogue (Edition 2.0) has been upgraded in two aspects. First, it has been expanded. The 82 overseas professional qualifications have been partially adjusted and increased to 110 and an inspection channel has been set up. More overseas professional qualifications related to science and technology, finance, and sanitation have been added. Second, classifications have been introduced. Four professional qualifications with urgent demands for high-end talent have been selected to form a catalogue with urgent needs. Supporting policies of corresponding professional title recognization and talent introduction have been studied to provide more practical and considerate services for high-end foreign professionals.

A: For international professionals whose professional qualifications are included in the Catalogue (Edition 2.0), their overseas work experience can be regarded as domestic work experience. When applying for work permits, they will not be restricted by their academic certificates, degrees, or work experience. The age limit will be relaxed to 65 years old (the age limit will be relaxed to 70 years old for international professionals in high-end, precision and sophisticated industries). When applying for exit-entry affairs, they can apply for multiple entries or residence permits (valid no more than five years). Eligible international professionals shall be included in the convenient channel for processing the Permanent Residence Permits. Second, employers in Beijing Municipality shall, according to their needs, follow the job qualifications and appointment procedure in employing eligible professionals with relevant professional and technical titles. Third, Chinese professionals who play a prominent role in their work shall be included in the talent introduction after being recommended by employers in Beijing Municipality.
