Enterprises that have already been recognized as foreign-funded R&D centers by Beijing Municipal Commission of Science and Technology do not need to apply to get accreditated again with Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau. However, they must apply for the "Qualification Review and Approval for Duty Drawback for Equipment Purchased by Foreign-funded R&D Centers" according to the Notice on the Qualification Review of Duty-Free Purchase of Imported Equipment by Foreign-funded R&D Centers ([2022] No. 2).
