(I) Overview
Huairou Science City is situated in the northeast of Beijing, roughly 50 km from the city center. Since its initial planning and development in 2009, it has become a strategic cornerstone for Beijing's goal of establishing an International Center for Science & Technology Innovation. Today, it is a region with the highest concentration of large-scale scientific facilities globally, offering great opportunities for scientific research and industrial advancement.

(II) Functional Positioning
Serving as the heart of a world-class original innovation support area and a comprehensive national science center, Huairou Science City prioritizes the achievement incubation across five scientific domains: materials, space, earth systems, life sciences, and intelligent technology. It aims to cultivate high-end, precision, and sophisticated industries, including technology services, new materials, life and health, intelligent information, space and earth exploration, and energy conservation and environmental protection. The goal is to create an innovation chain encompassing infrastructure, basic research, applied research, technology development, achievement commercialization, and high-end, precision, and sophisticated industry cultivation.
(III) Development Situation
Huairou Science City is actively working to attract numerous enterprises and research institutes to contribute to the robust development momentum. Companies, such as GRIPM Advanced Materials Co., Ltd., have successfully been listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board, showcasing the remarkable capabilities of the science city in transforming achievements and upgrading industries. Furthermore, several specialized funds have been established to provide long-term financial support for technology-driven innovation. Infrastructure development is progressing rapidly. A cluster of science and technology facilities begins to take shape, fostering a top-tier environment for organizations in the science city. Currently, 41 top large-scale scientific facilities and scientific and educational facilities are collaborating in Huairou Science City. A partnership with 27 high-level universities and research institutes has been formed to establish a new hub for technology-driven innovation.
