I. To apply for the establishment of a Sino-foreign cooperative production of TV series, applicants shall submit the following materials.

1. The original copy of the Application Form for the Establishment of Sino-foreign Cooperative Production of TV Series is needed.

2. The original copy of the overview of the TV series (a synopsis with no less than 5,000 words for each episode or a complete script) is needed.

3. The original copy of the list of key domestic production persons and the original copy of the resume of key domestic production persons (including screenwriters, producers, directors, and main performers) are needed.

4. The original production plan, list of domestic filming spots, and detailed shooting schedule are needed.

5. A photocopy of the letter of intent for the cooperation is needed. (The formal cooperation agreement, memorandum, letter of intent, or other corresponding documents signed by both parties are accepted. The letter of intent shall clarify matters such as the investments of both parties, the work division of the main creative elements, and the copyright ownership at home and abroad.) 

6. A photocopy of the foreign legal person’s registration certificate and a photocopy of the credit certificate of the foreign legal person is needed. (The format varies from country to country. Thus, the aforementioned documents shall be stamped with the official seal of the issuing agency or signed by the person in charge (only original documents are required to be stamped or signed). A Chinese version shall be attached with certificates in a foreign language).

II. To apply for the review for complete Sino-foreign cooperative production of TV series, applicants shall submit the following materials.

1. The original copy of the Application Form for the Review of the Complete Co-production Work is needed.

2. The original TV series videotape with images, sounds, and time codes meeting the review requirements is needed. (1. The images, sounds, subtitles, and time codes of the submitted videotape shall be clear and complete. 2. Applicants have the option to submit their works online or on-site. If applicants choose the online submission, it is required to upload the entire TV series to Tencent or Baidu Wangpan (Baidu Netdisk). The applicants shall send the corresponding password (indicating the full name of the co-production entities and the name of the TV series) to bjjdsjnrsc@163.com.)

3. The original copy of the synopsis (300 words at least for each episode) is needed.

4. The original copy of the subtitles in the title sequence and closing credits that are the same as the sample submitted is needed.
