1. Original copy of the Registration Application Form for Commercial Performances in Beijing (involving foreign participants or those from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan). The application form is not required for online applications.

Affixed with an official seal. 1. Submit the itinerary when applying for a Short-term Work Certificate; 2. The original of the applicant's qualification certificate is needed. (The document shall be stamped with an official seal, with a photocopy of the applicant's valid commercial performance permit attached to it.)

2.  One photocopy of a duplicate copy of the applicant’s qualifications affixed with an official seal, along with a photocopy of a valid commercial performance permit.

3. The original performance agreement signed by the performance organizer and the art performance group or individual performers, stamped with an official seal. If there are minors participating in the commercial performance, it is necessary to submit a copy of the identity information of their guardians as well as a written consent letter from the guardians. Actors agencies involved must provide a copy of their commercial performance permit. Cooperation agreement shall be submitted if the performance is jointly organized by the organizer, the contractor and other cooperating parties.

4. The original consent letter for the venue (affixed with an official seal and presented along with the signed agreement between the performance organizer and the performance venue owner including, but not limited to: the name of the performance organizer and the performance date.)

5. Introduction to the program and contents of the performance

(1) The program list, including information such as program names, types, and performers.

(2) The audio-visual materials corresponding to the program list shall be submitted, including: lyrics, which shall be bilingual for foreign-language songs, and audio-visual materials for singing programs; audio-visual materials for music programs; and video materials for dancing and acrobatic programs. You will receive a text message about the submission of audio-visual materials after your application is accepted. Please follow the instructions and submit the audio-visual materials with the specific names of the event host, the event and the programs to the Service Window at Zone A on the first floor of the Government Service Center of Beijing Municipality. You can also choose to send them by post. The audio-visual materials will be reviewed upon receipt.

(3) Script and self-assessment. For drama and folk art language programs, an electronic version of the script and self-assessment must be submitted to zongheyewu@whlyj.beijing.gov.cn at least 20 working days prior to the formal application for the performance programs. Self-assessment should include, but not limited to, the introduction to the main content and the creators, the core idea behind the performance, the list of characters and their relationship, expected time and place of the performance, whether the program has previously been performed in public, and the public performance experience and level of influence.

6. Introduction to the art performance group and performers.

(1) Stamped with an official seal. Group qualifications: notes for registration are to be provided for a restructured art performance group. If the original document is in a foreign language, the original document and its Chinese translation must be provided.

(2) Introduction to performers: A. Valid identity information of performers (passport for foreign performers; Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents for performers from Taiwan; Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents for Hong Kong and Macao performers; ID card, passport and Military ID Card for performers from the Chinese mainland). B. List of performers with the following eight items: name, gender, data of birth, position, country (region), document type, document number, and document expiry date. C. A brief introduction to the performers' artistic ability and performance experience.

7. Original copy of performance venue description.

(1) Stamped with an official seal. The entertainment business permit, record certificate of performance venue operating institution, or certificate of fire safety inspection for a place of public gathering before it is put into use and open for business must be submitted.

(2) For a large-scale commercial performance to be held on a temporary stage or stand, the following items must be submitted: safety and security work plan, a fire-fighting and emergency evacuation plan, and safety and fire control approval documents obtained in accordance with the law.

(3) For performances to be streamed live to the public through the Internet, the Online Cultural Business License (drama and program performance included in the business scope), live broadcasting agreement and emergency plan of the network platform must be submitted.

8.The original of the power of attorney is needed. 

An official seal must be stamped. If it is handled by anyone other than the legal representative, a photocopy of the agent's ID card must be attached and submitted .
