【Application Materials】
Foreigners shall appoint a trademark agency that is established in accordance with the law to process their trademark applications. Foreigners having habitual residence in China may apply independently. For an in-person application at the Trademark Registration Hall, applicants shall prepare and bring the following documents, including a completed and signed Trademark Registration Application (the application form shall be signed by the applicant), the reproduction of the trademark, a photocopy of the applicant's identity document, along with either a photocopy of the Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card of the People's Republic of China issued by public security organs or a photocopy of the Foreigner's Residence Permit of the People's Republic of China with a validity of more than a year. 【Processing Methods】
1. Foreigners having habitual residence in China also have the option to submit their applications via the online trademark application system. For specific procedures, please refer to the "Online Application" section on the official website of the Trademark Office of China National Intellectual Property Administration.
2. Foreign businesses without any business office in China shall appoint a legally established trademark agency to process their trademark registration and handle any related matters. Note: A wholly-owned subsidiary of a foreign business established legally within China is viewed as a Chinese enterprise and is not considered a business office of the foreign company.
