Beijing Releases Its Top 100 Private Enterprises List -- Revenue Threshold Rises to 5.547 Billion Yuan

The 2026 list of Beijing's Top 100 Private Enterprises was recently released.

For the main list, the revenue threshold for inclusion reached 5.547 billion yuan, up 9.02 percent year on year. The enterprises recorded combined revenue of 5.89 trillion yuan, up 11.98 percent year on year, and total assets of 15.88 trillion yuan, up 5.73 percent year on year. Of the companies on the list, 83 percent develop their key technologies primarily through in-house R&D, while 70 percent have participated in developing a total of 4,027 standards at various levels.

The Top 100 Private Enterprises for Science and Technology Innovation generated 2.87 trillion yuan in revenue and reported R&D expenditure of 207.942 billion yuan. Among the listed enterprises, 95 percent are active in strategic emerging industries and 71 percent are active in future industries.

The Top 100 Specialized, Sophisticated, Distinctive and Innovative Private Enterprises recorded revenue of 58.85 billion yuan, total assets of 141.47 billion yuan, and profits of 13.271 billion yuan. Seventy percent have been recognized as national-level specialized, sophisticated, distinctive and innovative "Little Giant" enterprises, while more than 90 percent of their products target critical bottlenecks in industrial chains or provide domestically developed substitutes for imported products.

The Future Industry Pioneers List features companies at the global forefront of technologies in fields such as embodied intelligence and artificial general intelligence. Forty percent of the companies spend more than 50 percent of their revenue on R&D, while 80 percent have core technologies that are fully self-developed and independently controllable.
