Since officially commencing operations on December 11, 2025, Beijing E-Town Comprehensive Bonded Zone (E-Town CBZ) has handled 20,800 tons of import and export goods with a total trade value of 8.208 billion yuan.
Convenient bonded warehousing services are a key draw for numerous emerging industries to establish operations in the zone. Under this service model, enterprises can defer the payment of import duties and taxes on goods stored in bonded warehouses. Relevant customs procedures are completed only when goods leave the warehouses based on their final destinations, effectively easing cash-flow pressure on businesses. At present, the strengths of bonded warehousing in E-Town CBZ have been fully leveraged. The warehouse occupancy rate in the zone exceeds 90 percent, with stored goods ranging from biomedicines and integrated circuits to industrial products and cross-border e-commerce consumer goods, with a total value of 900 million yuan.
As of June 11, Yizhuang Customs, under Beijing Customs, has supervised 20,800 tons of import and export goods and 8,034 vehicle crossings involving 141 categories of commodities with total trade value reaching 8.208 billion yuan. The zone has emerged as a new growth engine for Beijing's opening-up.
