The Hurun Research Institute has unveiled the 2025 Hurun China Artificial Intelligence Enterprises Top 50 in Beijing E-Town. Among these companies, 19 are based in Beijing, including Cambricon, Moore Thread, Zhipu AI, Moonshot AI, and Zhongguancun Kejin, making Beijing the national leader in terms of quantity. Of these Beijing-based companies, 16 are located in Haidian District.
The list focuses on Chinese enterprises whose core business lies in AI computing power or algorithms. The ranking is primarily based on enterprise value. The market capitalization of listed companies is calculated according to their closing prices as of January 9, 2026, while the valuation of non-listed companies is estimated by referencing comparable listed firms or their latest financing rounds. Cambricon tops the list with a valuation of 630 billion yuan.
Beyond computing power companies, large language models (LLMs) represent another key sector for Beijing-based AI enterprises on the list. Zhipu AI, recently dubbed "the world's first publicly listed LLM company", has seen several of its open-source large models top the international open-source leaderboards. Among vertical LLM companies, Zhongguancun Kejin has applied its full-scenario, enterprise-grade intelligent product matrix built on the DeZhu LLM platform across sectors such as finance, industrial manufacturing, automotive, consumer retail, and public services.
