On September 4, China's first International Vocational Capacity Standards Development Center was officially inaugurated in Chaoyang District, Beijing.
The establishment of the center represents Chaoyang District's pioneering efforts in standard development, international mutual recognition, and policy coordination. It will help align with advanced international vocational capacity standard systems and develop, introduce, transform, and promote national and international vocational capacity standards with a focus on emerging and future industries, thereby facilitating the implementation of such standards.
The center will also collaborate with professional institutions and enterprises, such as China Quality Certification Centre, CIIC Beijing, and FESCO , to conduct critical work in standard formulation, pilot applications, and shared resource development, jointly exploring new pathways for vocational capacity building.
The first batch of three newly-established service stations by Pioneer Park , CITIS , and Chuang E+ will extend services directly to enterprises and talent hubs, seamlessly integrating standard development with talent cultivation, evaluation, and utilization processes, thereby injecting standardization momentum for advancing trade in services and new quality productive forces.
