Recently, SinoVision Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., a company located in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town), announced that its independently developed OmegaCT One, the world's first ultra-large-aperture upright whole-body spiral CT scanner, has been officially approved for market release by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA). This new creation enables its users to stand rather than lie down to undergo CT scans, challenging the conventional diagnostic pathway and filling a long-standing gap in the medical industry. The product also represents a "zero-to-one" breakthrough for high-end imaging equipment made in China and marks the country's transition from a follower to a leader in the CT field.
