Recently, the Beijing CBD Foreign Enterprise Service Center was inaugurated, marking a key step in building the capital's Central Business District (the "Beijing CBD" for short) into a hub for mobilizing global resources. In the future, it will leverage the global resources-related advantages and professional capabilities of TEC (The Executive Centre, a multinational business service provider)  to become the first stop for foreign-funded enterprises to enter China.

The newly established Service Center carries many important functions such as collecting the demands of foreign-funded enterprises and providing services for the establishment of these enterprises. It will become an important platform for the Beijing CBD to consolidate the district's advantages in opening up.

Relying on this Service Center, the Beijing CBD will dig into the demands of foreign-funded enterprises aimed at entering China, as well as the policy support they need and the practical problems they face in the processes of business development, and optimize services for foreign-funded enterprises in a timely manner. In response to the needs of foreign-funded enterprises to set up operations and become part of the Chinese market, the Service Center will provide a full range of professional services covering field visits, one-on-one consultations, policy interpretation, location selection, registration, administrative services, conference support, etc.

The foreign-funded economy sector is an important part of the CBD's economic and social development. Foreign-funded entities in the Beijing CBD have contributed over 40 percent of the annual total tax amount of the functional area for the past five consecutive years. So far, the CBD is home to nearly 16,000 foreign-funded entities and 122 regional headquarters of multinational enterprises.
