Recently, a service base for the overseas expansion of enterprises has been established in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA), which concluded a cooperation agreement with Beijing E-Town International Trade in Services Co., Ltd. Moving forward, the two parties will, through deep collaboration, help enterprises go global and BDA-based enterprises scale their business globally through efficient strategies and compliance with relevant regulations.

BDA, as a key window for Beijing's opening-up, has delivered impressive results in foreign investment and trade. It now boasts 160 projects invested by 105 Fortune Global 500 enterprises, with a cumulative investment exceeding USD 100 billion. In 2024, BDA recorded a nearly 20 percent year-on-year increase in the number of newly established foreign-invested enterprises, while its actually-utilized foreign investment reached close to USD 1.4 billion, marking a 26 percent rise year on year and ranking third in Beijing. In the same year, the total import and export value hit CNY 195.3 billion, up over 15 percent compared with the previous year, 10 percentage points higher than the national average and 16 percentage points higher than the city's average. Meanwhile, Beijing E-Town's performance in the fields of service outsourcing, software exports, and technology imports and exports have remained relatively high, contributing to the global outreach for E-Town's investment, technologies and services.
