The 2023 Global Energy Transition Forum is a high-grade national energy sector forum that is being held for the fifth consecutive time in the heart of Future Science City's Energy Valley, this year to the special theme of "Energy Security - Green Transition".

This year's edition of the forum welcomed more than 30 representatives of authoritative international organizations and institutions, prominent Chinese and foreign academics and experts, and more than 300 delegates from the world's leading energy companies. The 2023 iteration of the forum also received tangible support from the World Bank, Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and International Gas Union, among others.

Special focal points for this forum were high-quality development in energy storage, the safety of energy systems, affordability and sustainability in the context of the global energy transition, green policies and the digitalization of the industry, methods of increasing the benefit to all the parties involved, the establishment of global energy partnerships, accelerating green, low-carbon development in the industry, ensuring transparent energy safety under open conditions, and harnessing insight and ideas to contribute to the global energy transition among other things.
