The General Office of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality recently released the Implementation Plan for Beijing Municipality to Comprehensively Optimize Business Environment and Facilitate High-quality Development of Enterprises (hereinafter referred to as the Plan). This is the 6th edition of the reform plan for optimizing Beijing’s business environment.

Beijing aims to foster a market environment marked by fair competition,  sound legal system, open and inclusive investment and trade environment, efficient and convenient governmental services, and a first-class business environment of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Beijing will strive to build an enterprise development ecosystem that is in tune with the city's functional position to realize the comprehensive optimization and upgrade of Beijing’s business environment. These efforts will enable Beijing to maintain its position as a leading administrative division with an optimal business environment.
