According to statistics released at the Conference on 2023 Beijing Investment Promotion and "Two Zones" Investment Attraction, the city witnessed remarkable achievements in 2022 investment promotion and attraction. A total of 5,794 new projects were registered in the investment attraction database, with new investment expected to reach CNY 1,055 billion. Among the newly added projects, 4,039 have been implemented, with CNY 835.7 billion invested.

In 2022, 212 major domestic-funded projects with an investment above CNY 1 billion and major foreign-funded projects with an investment above USD 50 million were implemented in Beijing, with investments totaling CNY 684.8 billion. Among these major projects, the 51 foreign-funded projects with a total investment of USD 12.98 billion include Amazon (China) Investment Co., Ltd. with a new investment of CNY 2.4 billion in Chaoyang District, Jiku Xinneng (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. with a registered capital of USD 1.06 billion in Huairou District, and Beijing Sankuai Online Technology Co., Ltd. with a new investment of USD 910 million in Haidian District.
