Zhongguancun Life Science Park is a focal point in China for the most concentrated innovation resources in life sciences, bringing together a multitude of high-level R&D institutions and more than 600 innovative pharmaceutical and health enterprises. It has spared no effort to build a globally competitive hub for the pharmaceutical and health industry. 

Changping District has released a number of policies and measures to support the development of pharmaceutical and health industry clusters and promote the incubation of innovative achievements. Seizing these opportunities, Zhongguancun Life Science Park has actively encouraged scientists to set up enterprises there. As such, enterprises have benefitted from the upstream and downstream industrial resources within the park, which inject steady impetus for their growth, to more quickly move from R&D to the production of pharmaceuticals. No less importantly, Zhongguancun Life Science Park has focused on the incubation and commercialization of cutting-edge technologies, welcoming into its fold more than 60 high-end, precision and sophisticated enterprises founded by well-known scientists or equipped with original technologies, which further consolidates the park's position as a national leader of innovation.
