The 2022 Beijing · Changping International Forum on Life Science was held online recently. This year's theme was to "Explore Life and Create the Future".

The forum consisted of an opening ceremony, a main forum, and six theme forums, highlighted five "focuses", and presented achievements connected with the five "focuses". Specifically, in terms of the frontiers of science and technology, new paths for industrial development have been explored; in terms of win-win cooperation, the stickiness of innovation ecology has been enhanced; in terms of industry subdivisions, the implementation of major projects has been promoted; in terms of breakthroughs and innovation, significant original achievements have been presented; in terms of openness and sharing, a more international vision has been developed.

Life science has been held up as a potential driver for a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation. The pharmaceutical and healthcare industry is one of the most innovative industries in the world today. As the host of the forum and an important base for the development of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry in Beijing, Changping District has managed to bring together more than 800 pharmaceutical and healthcare innovation enterprises and more than 300 of the world's top innovative talents. Correspondingly, a number of original achievements of global importance have emerged. It is hoped that more and more global life science talent will be inspired to choose Changping and join the effort to make greater contributions to the development of life sciences and the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.
