At present, Pinggu District is promoting high-standard development of the Jingping Logistics Hub Industrial Park to set up a logistics center in Beijing. Estimated transportation capacities of highways and railways of Mafang Logistics Base will reach 15 million tons by 2023.

Pinggu District is situated in the place where Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei meet and it is a key point for both the Capital Economic Circle and the Bohai Economic Rim. When implementing the national strategies of development, Jingping Logistics Hub Industrial Park has been successively recognized as the national backbone base for cold chain logistics, national-level demonstration logistics park, first-class logistics hub of highway-railway integration in Beijing, and other valuable reputations. All these advantageous policies have brought new impetus to the long-term development of the park.
