Recently, the preliminary round of HICOOL 2022 Global Entrepreneurs Competition Agri-tech/Food-tech Track, involving 122 projects selected from across the globe, started at the Beijing Jingwa Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as Beijing Jingwa Center) in Pinggu District. Global talent from the agri-tech and food-tech sectors have been invited to the preliminary round, gathering entrepreneurship in Pinggu.

Beijing Jingwa Center is an agricultural science and technology innovation institute integrating technology development, demonstration, commercialization of achievements, talent training, international exchanges, and strategy advisory services. It is the epitome of Pinggu's efforts to make "Chinese chips" in the agriculture industry. As a major agricultural district in Beijing, Pinggu has shouldered the responsibility of facilitating self-reliant agricultural technology development and forged ahead in establishing the talent chain, innovation chain, industrial chain, and other factors in the district.
