In order to attract more overseas students to return to China for employment and entrepreneurship, Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area has released various recruitment information to promote overseas students' careers and project commercialization, build a high-level, precision and sophisticated industries community for talents and facilitate high-quality development of Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area and Yizhuang New Town.

It is understood that Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area has implemented a series of policies to improve independent innovation to facilitate breakthroughs in key technologies. Focusing on the innovation abilities of young talents in science and technology, Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area will select a batch of high-level overseas students and provide special funds to support their entrepreneurship and innovation. Cutting-edge fields and basic research fields, including AI, quantum information, integrated circuits, life and health, biological breeding, and aerospace technology will be the focus of this year's supporting plan. Each selected individual of innovative projects will be awarded CNY 100,000 to 300,000 at a time, depending on the type of project.

With the high-quality development of Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area and Yizhuang New Town, talent cultivation and reserve projects have become vital for these areas. At the beginning of 2022, Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area has done everything possible to support Beijing Municipality to help Chinese students studying abroad start businesses in China, encourage and subsidize high-level talents to return and accelerate the construction of the first one million sqm new international talent community in Beijing. Meanwhile, Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area is also planning to build a talent service center offering investment and incubation services, talent training and financial empowerment. The center is expected to be put into operation in May of this year.

During the high-quality development, Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area has continuously strengthened the top-level design of its talent-related work and strategic plans. Different measures, such as improving the innovation capacity of employers, building high-end platforms for talent development, and enhancing the development of a talent service system, have been taken to retain and attract talents with optimized services and create a good environment for them to further develop.
