Cultivate high-quality exhibitions that promote the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Focus will be placed on industries such as intelligent connected vehicles, integrated circuits, and biomedicine to create industry-specific exhibitions and conventions.

Develop premium exhibitions and conventions that are aligned with the development of key industries. Focus will be placed on competitive sectors including next-generation information technology, medical and healthcare, green energy and environmental protection, blockchain, advanced computing, etc.

2. Build a Globally Competitive Modern Exhibition and Convention Industry

Enhance global resource allocation capabilities. Support will be provided to Beijing-based enterprises in establishing in-depth collaborative ties with renowned international convention and exhibition organizations and leading global exhibition companies.

Promote the integration of conventions and exhibitions with specific industries. Efforts will be made to strengthen the synergies between the convention and exhibition industry and key industries, such as strategic emerging industries, future industries, and those from the service sector.

Facilitate the integration of conventions and exhibitions with consumption activities. Efforts will be made to promote the coordinated development of conventions and exhibitions, business, culture and tourism, and sports.

Drive the integration of conventions and exhibitions with trade. Broaden the export of competitive products and the import of high-quality goods, and actively seek customs support to facilitate improved participation in exhibitions.

3. Improve Ecosystem for High-Quality Development of Conventions and Exhibitions

Optimize the business environment. The approval processes for conventions and exhibitions will be streamlined.

Enhance the capacities of venues. Large-scale exhibition venues will be built to high standards by adhering to principles of low-carbon, eco-friendliness, and green development.

Improve the supporting services for conventions and exhibitions. Focus will be placed on internationalization, high-end positioning, and quality standards. The city will accelerate the development of supporting facilities for the third phase of the New China International Exhibition Center, and rationally plan and build the surrounding transportation infrastructure for the Daxing International Convention and Exhibition Center.

4. Establish Efficient and High-Quality Operational Modes for Conventions and Exhibitions

Enhance coordination and scheduling of the relevant services. The city aims to address major issues during the preparation phases of conventions and exhibitions by relying on the international task forces for conventions and exhibitions.

Strengthen policy support. Reward criteria, scope of incentives, and application procedures will be further refined.

Strengthen financial support for the convention and exhibition industry. Relevant companies will be encouraged to set up investment funds dedicated to the convention and exhibition sector, to broaden financing channels for organizers, service providers, and participating enterprises.

Improve service guarantees for exhibitions. During large-scale international events, public transportation capacity will be increased to meet the demands of transportation.
