The committee is responsible for implementing the CPC's principles, guidelines and policies, and the decisions and deployments of CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, organizing and promoting the planning, construction and management of the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center, and exercising relevant municipal management powers delegated within the planned scope of the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center. It is responsible for organizing and implementing the detailed control plan of the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center, organizing the formulation of relevant plans, programs, policies and standards for the high-quality development of the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center, and coordinating their implementation. It is responsible for the planning, construction and management of the Beijing Tongzhou Cultural Tourism Zone, as well as the safeguarding of the operation of key projects. It is responsible for comprehensive coordination and overall promotion of the integrated development of the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center and Tongzhou District. It is responsible for coordinating with the neighboring three counties of Langfang, Hebei Province (namely Sanhe City, Dachang Hui Autonomous County and Xianghe County) and undertakes the daily work of the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center Construction Leading Group.
