Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau (Beijing Foreign Investment Service Center) is a bureau-level public institution directly under the People's Government of Beijing Municipality. It is responsible for attracting business and investments and delivering specialized services to facilitate investment promotion.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Developing medium- to long-term strategies for attracting business and investments for Beijing. Conducting research and proposing suggestions to enhance the investment climate in Beijing.
2. Establishing a network for attracting business and investments both within and outside the Chinese mainland, fortifying connections with professional organizations at home and abroad, and broadening avenues for business and investment attraction.
3. Overseeing comprehensive promotional efforts highlighting Beijing's investment policies, resources, and investment environment.
4. Collaborating in securing major business and investment projects and offering coordination services to facilitate their successful implementation.
5. Collecting demands for citywide investment promotion activities, preparing activity plans, and ensuring collaboration in their execution.
6. Providing assistance, support, and related services to investors from inside and outside the Chinese mainland, as well as enterprises operating in Beijing. Handling complaints lodged by foreign-invested enterprises.
7. Fostering coordination and communication with investment promotion efforts across various districts and Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area.
8. Undertaking other tasks assigned by the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and the People's Government of Beijing Municipality.
