The Guan is known as the “tail of the dragon.” Today, the Guan serves as a “local cultural museum” and a “new cultural space for Beijing’s modern lifestyle.” The project has been divided into several areas, including a Beijing Central Axis-themed post office, a digital exhibition hall of the central axis, a reading hall, a historical exhibition hall on Hong’en Temple, a traditional Chinese cultural academy, a tea space, and the Home Restaurant, among other spaces offering the public sustainable, high-quality lifestyle options.
