Italian mathematician and physicist  Sergio Cecotti, who lives in Huairou District, Beijing, has been honored  with the Great Wall Friendship Award. He shared his experiences in  Huairou, praised the district's scientific research environment and  efficient services, and highlighted its natural beauty and rapid  development.
