Recently, British photographer Bruce turned his camera on Beijing Subway Line 12 and the newly opened Line 17. Seated in sleek and modern train cars, his thoughts drifted back to the years he once spent living in the Lido area. "Beijing, for me, is a combination of wonderful memories and incredible modernity". Bruce, who has lived in Beijing for many years, wrote in his photography journal.

He travelled from Sanyuan Qiao Station to Jiangtaixi Station. The comfortable train and well-designed platforms prompted his reflection that the Beijing Subway makes travel across the city so easy.
