The Spring Festival in 2025 (the "Yisi" Year of the Snake), is the first one since the festival was inscribed on the list of the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List. The National Museum of China has launched the exhibition "Embracing the Spring: Celebrating the Year of the Snake". Nearly 200 well-selected cultural artifacts from the museum's collection are on display, showcasing a variety of items such as bronzeware, jadeware, coins, ceramics, goldware, silverware, lacquerware, calligraphic works, and paintings. These exhibits offer a rich, multi-faceted showcase of the cultural significance of the Spring Festival. Join Karima Asemova from Kyrgyzstan as she takes us on a virtual tour of the exhibition.
