The China National Botanical Garden in Haidian District, Beijing, is China's first national-level botanical garden.
It consists of two parts, the South Garden and the North Garden, with a total planned area of nearly 600 hectares. So far, it is home to a collection of more than 15,000 species of plants, including nearly 40 Class I species protected at the national level. The botanical garden is an ideal destination for appreciating flowers and leaves during summer days.
