Budějovický Budvar, a Czech beer brand with a history of over a century, recently opened its first store in China in Xisi, Xicheng District, Beijing. The opening hours are from 16:00 to 2:00.

As one of the birthplaces of world beer culture, the Czech Republic is where modern pale lager originated.

All beer served at this store is shipped directly from the Czech brewery via cold chain logistics, with temperature control maintained throughout transportation to preserve maximum freshness. The store faithfully replicates the standards of a traditional Czech pub: glasses must be thoroughly hand-washed and chilled with ice water to ensure a stable, lasting foam. As a centerpiece of the Czech way of pouring, the store offers a "Triple Tastes" experience, drawing three distinct flavors and textures from a single classic lager.

On Xisi Street, last year saw the arrival of the first craft beer store of Mikkeller, a renowned international craft beer brand, in the Chinese mainland. The street is also home to DarkWave (黑潮酿造), Sissel & Jiuhua Party (西所&酒花派对)—two stores found nowhere else in Beijing—along with other distinctive craft beer venues such as Alcohol Locusts (蝗虫精酿), Great Cosmos (大宇宙), and Yingshe Jiurou (硬舌酒肉).
