Wangjing V‑HUB, located on Wangjing Walk, has opened to the public. It connects a diverse mix of youth-oriented businesses and experiences through open public spaces, and has attracted 156 brands. These brands have opened 88 first stores, including first stores in Beijing, Chaoyang District, and the Wangjing area.

This trendy commercial space was converted from a traditional enclosed mall as a practical example of "Urban Renewal 4.0". Instead of relying solely on shopping as its main function, it seeks to create an open and accessible "urban paradise" where visitors can stroll, relax and join in activities regardless of whether they buy anything.

After renovation, 60 percent of the mall's area is now designated as open public space. The open-plan ground floor and folding windows on the second floor enable a seamless connection to the 320‑meter‑long Wangjing Walk, extending the urban streetscape. These public zones are no longer just used as corridors, but can be flexibly arranged for curated exhibitions, markets, youth-led co-creation projects and other diverse events, thereby restoring a stronger public dimension to the commercial space.

So far, more than 100 brands have set up shops here, among which 20 are first stores in Beijing, 13 are first stores in Chaoyang District, and 55 are first stores in the Wangjing area. Spaces dedicated to experiences and public functions account for 75 percent of the total area, facilitating the transformation of consumption from simple transactions to immersive experiences.
During the opening period, the mall will be hosting a series of themed events. The Future Wonderland AI Robot Concert (未来奇境AI机器人音乐会), Sunset Concert, International Street Dance Competition, and other events will be held one after another. A Chinese‑style cultural carnival and a Zumba Fitness Party for family visitors will also be organized.
