Universal Beijing Resort is bringing back its Scares @ Universal event from September 5 to November 2. As part of the event, nighttime experiences will be available, during which the resort's operating hours will be extended to 22:00.
Special themed performances will be presented. Scares @ Universal's breakout star Emo Tu and the rising superstar Foxy Lady will make their first joint appearance on stage. HamiKuma from the Universal Studios family will join the show as a special guest.

Four themed haunted mazes (including two new ones) and two scare zones will open to visitors. The Universal Monsters Crypt, one of the new haunted mazes, will bring together original characters from Universal Pictures' classic movies and deliver a blockbuster-level multi-sensory experience. Another new maze—the silent and mysterious "House of Hua Pi"—will open for a limited period. Jack's Circus and House No. 91 are set to return once again.
During Scares @ Universal 2025, nighttime events will take place every Thursday to Monday (closed on September 18 and October 2, but open on September 16 and 30, and October 29). The Universal on Parade will be temporarily suspended from September 1 to November 7.

The four haunted mazes will operate from 15:00 to 22:00 (with queue cut-off) on days when the nighttime events are available. No online reservation or additional ticket is needed—visitors can simply queue for entry. Related Universal Express products will go on sale starting August 23. Showtime for HamiKuma Hallow-Palooza will be adjusted accordingly to daily sunset times on event nights.
From September 5 to November 2, the Death Eaters™ Takeover event will come to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ for the first time, immersing guests in the darker side of magic as Death Eaters seize control of Hogsmeade. Exclusive Death Eater-themed merchandise will also be launched.
During the event, Universal Studios Grand Hotel and NUO Resort Hotel will roll out enhanced stay packages, while Universal CityWalk Beijing will feature limited-edition themed food and drinks, as well as face painting services.
