Universal Beijing Resort's summer-exclusive event "Cool Summer" will return on June 13 and run until August 17.

This year, the theme of the "Cool Summer" party will be upgraded to present a "battle of bands". Iconic characters from blockbuster franchises, including Shrek and Princess Fiona, the Minions, and Megatron (joining for the first time), will become band members and collaborate with professional dance troupes to deliver an audio-visual spectacle. The event area will feature zones for splashing fun and "dry zones" for those who prefer to stay water-free. Facilities such as body dryers, shaded shelters, and lockers will remain available near Hollywood Amphitheater. New installations for band-themed atmosphere will be introduced at the "Cool Summer Character Meet-and-Greet". Also, popular characters like Princess Fiona and Prince Charming, dressed in summer-exclusive outfits, will gather at the end of Hollywood Boulevard to interact with guests for photos.

The fully upgraded special event for the Graduation Season will run from June 13 to July 31, with live performances of classic youth songs scheduled to be held on the stage for Universal Pop. Additionally, Universal Beijing Resort will launch an immersive tour for visitors eager to "return to Hogwarts" on August 4, which will be available until September 1.

During the event's period, a variety of brand-new themed products and culinary offerings will be introduced successively. Specifically, Café Royal in NUO Resort Hotel will present its crayfish buffet dinner, while the themed afternoon tea and cocktails will be offered at the hotel's Lobby Lounge. The Lotus Garden will also introduce its fully upgraded buffet dinner and Minions-themed breakfast.
