Jin Zhongdu Ruins Park's planned area is about 150,000 square meters. With nearly 50,000 square meters of area completed recently and the first over 20,000 square meters of area opened in November 2023, the park's total area opened to the public now reached 75,000 square meters. This panoramic museum showing off Beijing's earliest days as a capital has now taken shape. 

Zhongdu (literally the "central capital"), located in the heart of modern-day Beijing, was the capital city of the Jin Dynasty (1115-1234). It was reconstructed on the basis of the Nanjing City of the Liao Dynasty (907-1125). There are now 4 Zhongdu ruins in Beijing, among which three are in Fengtai District.

The hope is to have 100,000 square meters open to the public by the end of this year, with an immersive archaeological scenic area, interactive urban landmark, and open museum planned for the future.
